+ I haven't invested in an original piece before. How should I care for my new original piece?

I can completely understand. Making an investment in original artwork can be a daunting experience, but I'm here to make it as easy as possible.

As a professional artist, I take great care to ensure best practices for producing a permanent painting that can be handed down for generations.

I use museum-quality and lightfast oil paints such as Gamblin and Williamsburg colors, both excellent quality and long lasting. When I paint with acrylic, I use the highest quality artist paints and varnish with a protective coating.

Complimentary varnishing is included and protects your painting from dirt and damage.

Your job, as an official collector is to keep your painting hung away from harsh sunlight so your heirloom will last for years! Even though I use lightfast paint of the highest quality, I want to make sure that your investment looks as great in the years to come as it did as the day you received it.

I love to dive into the subjects I'm drawn to and explore them relentlessly. Prolific collections are born out of my disciplined approach to painting and an honest curiosity.

The entire process is a mix of intuitive movement, instinct, and an inner guidance that exists right below the conscious surface.

Layers of gestural marks and delightful messes start appearing. They're laid on the canvas without much thought, but with emotionally-driven action. This layering process gives the painting depth that will have the viewer discovering new moments every time.

+ Do you have a print from this original painting?

I often will offer fine art print versions of my paintings. Visit the Art Prints section of my shop to see what's available.

+ After I receive my original painting, can I make my own prints and use your work on my blog?

While you own the painting, I still maintain ownership of the rights to the painting. This means you may not reproduce the work without my explicit written permission.

If you'd like to feature my work online, please feel free! Just tag me when appropriate, either my social media handle or my website.

+ When will I receive my painting?

Oil paintings take a very long time to dry, so it may be necessary to expect them to ship 4-8 weeks after they're completed. Acrylic and paper based paintings will ship within 2-5 business days!

+ How and when will it be shipped?

All originals are carefully wrapped in protective paper and plastic. They're then packed into a sturdy box with plenty of padding to ensure it arrives intact to your door.

I usually ship paintings 2-5 days after the order is placed.

+ How much is shipping?

Shipping rates vary by size, but range between $5-$400.

I ship via USPS, FedEx, or UPS, and work arrives 2-4 days from ship date. I purchase additional insurance on any original painting over $250, just in case!

+ Can you frame the painting?

I paint on gallery wrapped canvas, which is not necessary to be framed in order to look stunning on your walls. If you prefer a frame, I have black, white, and natural floater frames available at an additional cost.

+ What medium do you paint in?

I use museum-quality oils such as Gamblin or Williamsburg paints. I follow best practices to ensure that your investment lasts for years. I also use highest quality acrylic, ink, watercolor, and gouache paint.

+ Do you ship internationally?

International rates are calculated at check out, and can be hard to predict based on customs and border considerations.

Originals vary by size (noted at checkout). If more or less is required to ship, I will credit or invoice you directly prior to shipment. These can be hard to predict and I appreciate your patience. Please contact me with any questions!
