Stemming from a sense of curiosity to convey the landcape in a different way, this ongoing series uses expressive brushstrokes and unconventional color to play with paint on canvas.

Begun from a sketchbook idea in 2019, these paintings started an ongoing love affair with scribbles, design conscious color, and statement pieces. Sizes can vary, but I have found these often work best large, with room to take up space on a big wall that needs something special.

Originals and prints are available through my online shop as well as various galleries. While I return to these ideas year after year, they are always changing: new color palettes, different ways of making marks, and ever evolving ideas.

To bring one of these pieces into your space is to take part in the journey and, hopefully, remind you to play and be curious in your day to day.
